Exceptional and reasonably clean place with a very friendly reception. Best, attentive staff members were from managers. Stunning and favourable location close to Ambleside Pier. There was a lovely restaurant at a moderate distance from the hotel.

the reception was nice and tidy. the breakfast was astonishing and there was lots of splendid food. the beach was awesome. the pool was amazing and i had delicious drinks in the outdoor bar.

Everything was great and clean, I loved staff and location. Walking distance to bars and restaurants, it was a bonus. Also, I was 10 minutes by walk from bridge house. The bed was lovely and it was great having central heating, iron/ironing board and a work desk. Easy check-out too.

I stayed for 4 nights here and had a very good time. My superior queen room was stylish, I liked it. The staff was attentive and the service was exceptional. It was in a central location, next to the lake. I found Hikers Bar offering shots and different drinks 2 km of the venue.

The hotel had a welcoming foyer. Also, ambleside climbing wall is near here. Breakfast was fantastic, so much to pick from. The bed was extremely comfortable, it was a pure relaxation. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay, it was a lovely experience.
